Features

Everything you expect from a pen tablet.

Pentable uses your device purely as a drawing surface. No screen mirroring, no lag from video streaming, and no extra hardware to buy.

Pure black screen

Your screen stays black while you draw. On OLED displays the pixels are simply off, which saves battery and avoids burn-in during long sessions.

Native Windows Ink

Pressure, tilt, hover, the side button and the eraser work in Krita, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Affinity, Blender and OneNote. No drivers to install.

Every point captured

The pen is sampled up to 480 times a second and every sample reaches your PC. Fast strokes and fine hatching stay smooth.

Private and encrypted

Your device talks directly to your PC. The connection is encrypted end to end and only devices you have paired can connect.

Multi-monitor support

Map the pen to any monitor or span all of them. Proportions are preserved, so circles stay round.

Adjustable pen feel

Choose a soft, normal or firm pressure curve, boost light strokes, and set the active area. Changes apply instantly, even mid-stroke.

How it works

Ready to draw in a minute.

Pair once. After that, a single tap reconnects to your PC.

Wi-Fi

Wireless

Your PC is found automatically on your home network. No cables, draw from anywhere at your desk.

USB

Lowest latency

Around 3 ms of latency and your device charges while you draw. Requires USB debugging to be turned on.

FAQ

Questions and answers.

Which phones and tablets are supported?

Any device running Android 10 or later. Pentable is designed for Samsung Galaxy devices with an S Pen, such as the Galaxy S Ultra, Note and Tab S series, which get full pressure, tilt and hover.

Other Android tablets with an active pen work too. Phones without a pen can be used with a finger or a simple stylus in trackpad mode.

Which drawing programs work with Pentable?

Any Windows program that supports Windows Ink, including Krita, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Affinity Photo and Designer, Blender and OneNote.

In Krita, select Windows 8+ Pointer Input under Settings → Configure Krita → Tablet settings.

Do I need a cable?

No. Pentable works over Wi-Fi when your PC and device are on the same network. A USB cable is optional and gives the lowest latency while keeping your device charged.

Why doesn't the pen work in some windows, like Task Manager?

Windows doesn't allow regular apps to send input to programs running as administrator. This applies to every pen and input tool. Run the program you're drawing in without administrator rights.

Does Pentable collect any data?

No. Pentable has no accounts, ads, analytics or cloud servers. Your pen input only travels between your device and your PC. See the privacy policy for details.
